Covid-19 Updates

Annabel Fenwick | Updated 5th January 2021

Following the Government announcement of the national lockdown, we want to reassure our customers that we are open and will continue to manufacture and supply in line with government guidelines.

We look forward to speaking with you about your 2021 projects.

Very best wishes for the New Year,

Annabel Fenwick | Director

Annabel Fenwick | 2nd November 2020

Following the government statement on Sunday and the announcement of a further lockdown throughout the month of November, we would like to inform our current and future customers that it is business as usual for Just Roof Lanterns.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and will follow any guidance given by government for the protection of our staff and customers.

We will of course keep all our customers directly informed as things progress.

Very best wishes

Annabel Fenwick | 1st May 2020

We are pleased to report that as of Monday, the 4th May, our factories will re-open to commence manufacture. Clearly, health and safety remains an absolute priority and we’ve therefore put strict social distancing and safety measures in place in order to protect staff and customers.

The first phase of re-opening will allow us to complete existing orders which were in the system prior to lockdown and deliver those that have already been completed. The second phase will mean starting the production of new orders.

This phased approach will hopefully help us and our suppliers unfurlough staff in line with current market demands. During this initial period while a smaller skeleton crew is in place, we will have capacity constraints but it’s very much our hope and intention to build on this as we move forward.

Please note that due to smaller staffing levels and availability of supplies, it’s likely that some orders will be subject to slightly extended lead times and delivery dates may be subject to change (although we’ll endeavour to minimise this wherever possible).

As a small business, we hugely appreciate your support during this time and we look forward to working with you on your project.

Very best wishes

Annabel Fenwick | 20th April 2020

Since our first announcement at the end of March to temporarily suspend manufacturing and deliveries at all sites across the UK, we have been closely monitoring government statements and industry advice.

Based on the recent government announcement to extend the lockdown and strict social distancing rules, we have decided to continue the temporary closure of manufacturing at all our sites.

We feel that at these extraordinary times, this is the right thing to do to help protect the Health and Safety of our employees, our customers and the wider public.

Just Roof Lanterns are working hard behind the scenes with our suppliers, customers and fellow industry experts to ensure that we’re ready to open in a timely manner as soon as we safely can.

We are hoping if guidance allows to be operating again via a staggered and staged approach at the start of May 2020.

We continue to run the sales and design office as normal so please don’t hesitate to contact us for enquiries on new and existing orders / quotations.

Very best wishes

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement and the government’s very clear direction regarding social distancing and essential work and travel, it’s with a heavy heart to let you know we have decided to temporarily suspend all our manufacturing, delivery and forthcoming installations to help stop the spread of the virus.

However, the design and sales office are open for business as usual. Customer service is at the very core of what we do and that will not change. We will reply to new sales enquires and answer customer emails in exactly the same way; enabling you to finalise project plans and plan for the future.

For those of you that have existing projects with us, we will keep you informed with a view of confirming a new schedule ASAP and once we have further government direction. As a well-established business with no physical high street presence and minimal overheads, we would like to assure new and existing customers alike that we’re in a strong position to withstand an economic shock like this one.

We thank you for your continued support and understanding in these exceptional circumstances.

Stay safe

In the wake of the evolving impact of COVID-19, we are following government guidelines and working with the wider industry to ensure the health and safety of our staff and our customers. We remain focused to continually serve you wherever and whenever it is safe and operational possible for us to do so.

To help keep you safe, we are screening and taking temperatures of all our staff on a DAILY basis. We have taken additional steps of providing all staff with clear information on the virus, methods of control and NHS / Government websites for their reference. Our installers will regularly wash their hands, use hand sanitisers, wear gloves as well as face masks when necessary. We are operating a no handshake policy and practise appropriate distancing.

Our focus remains on 'Business as Usual' and providing an uninterrupted service to you, our valued customer, whilst remaining diligent and responsive to government recommendations and guidance. As a result of early purchasing of stock and our close relationships with suppliers and our manufacturing facilities, we are able to continue supplying both aluminium and timber products. We are continuing to work closely with our supply base and as the situation develops, we will communicate any issues if and when they occur.

Lastly, we sincerely wish that the impact on our customers, their families and their businesses, is minimal. Please keep safe, and we are a phone call away if you have any queries or concerns. We thank you for your continued support at this unprecedented time.

Best regards,

Annabel Fenwick | Director
