Installing an Aluminium Roof Lantern

Our aluminium roof lanterns are supplied for installation by your builder or other suitably competent installer. Each lantern is manufactured to the agreed dimensions and supplied with the components and information required for installation.

Correct preparation of the roof opening and upstand is essential. Before installation, the installer should check that the finished upstand dimensions, levels and construction correspond with the approved roof lantern dimensions and installation requirements.

Aluminium roof lanterns are designed to be assembled and secured to the prepared upstand in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Glazing, weather seals and external finishing should also be completed in the specified sequence to ensure correct drainage and long-term weather performance.
