The Roof Lantern as part of an Orangery Roof
The delicately framed conservatory so popular ten to fifteen years ago, has now evolved into the more sophisticated and substantially framed orangery. Progress in this evolution has resulted in the resurgence in fashion for single storey extensions; the principal feature of which will almost certainly be a roof lantern. These orangery roofs are typically supported off a cantilevered integral guttering assembly. It is this detail which has become the primary focus in designing orangeries within the contemporary conservatory market.
An orangery roof placed to define a particular function within a space; a kitchen island for example, or dining area within an open-plan kitchen/diner; if beautifully designed and built will truly make the orangery.
We are pleased to give advice and guidence on the size and design of a roof lantern for your orangery project. We have offer both made to measure roof lanterns or you can choose from a wide range of set sizes from The Collection.
